Abrasive blasters use breathing protection such as forced air hoods or supplied air masks to keep dust, heavy metals and other harmful particulate matter out their lungs. Of particular concern is silica dust, which causes silicosis, a deadly occupation lung disease that causes over 100 deaths per year in the U.S.. According to the CDC, more than 2 million U.S. workers remain exposed to respirable crystalline silica. With the use of silica free or <1% silica medias along with water vapor the blaster can use a simple dust mask for protection therefore keeping the operator and the surrounding area safe.
Our business specializes in one thing. Removal, We can prepare most any surface for reconditioning by removing the old to make room for the new. The hardest part is now the easiest when you use our services.
Vapor abrasive blasting (also known as wet abrasive blasting) removes coatings, contaminants, corrosion and residues from hard surfaces. It’s similar to dry blasting, except that the blast media is moistened prior to impacting the surface.
The main advantage of vapor abrasive blasting over dry blasting is that it reduces dust, allowing operators to work in a wide range of environments with minimal containment and cleanup costs. It results in a cleaner, more consistent finished, ready to coat, with no embedded particles or clinging dust.
Vapor abrasive blasting is alternatively referred to as wet blasting, wet abrasive blasting, vapor blasting, slurry blasting, wet sandblasting and dustless blasting.

IS A SPECIALTY
One of our special abilities is that we are portable. Our equipment is contained on a trailer that we can bring to your location. No more expense in moving your equipment or vehicle. We can pull up in your driveway or parking lot and do what we do on the spot. Money saved, time saved makes it more affordable.
Protecting the environment is one or our greatest concerns. All of the products we use are inert or bio-degradable. Most of our medias are recycled and contain <1 percent free silica.
We use a rust inhibitor in our water when blasting on metal to reduce the flash rust. It is not only bio-degradable, but the active ingredients have been approved to use in the food industry.
